Why Pigeon?
We built this site because we have been communicating on mailing
lists in a professional capacity for decades. We believe that the
accessibility of email—its open design, and endless
repurposability—still makes it a great method of team
communication over half a
century since it was first invented.
But to maintain the relevance and usability of email it is
necessary that there be services with simple design and good user
interface integrating contemporary practices. We saw that we could
easily improve on existing services, and so we created Pigeon.
